Physical & Occupational (Hand) Therapy

Physical & Occupational (Hand) Therapy

Physical and occupational therapy has been a critical component of patient care at Orthopaedic Specialists since its inception.  The certified (hand) occupational therapists, physical therapists and athletic trainers offer the patient significant experience and dedicated attention to their individual needs through intensive programs of rehabilitation. They have advanced training in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions of the spine (back and neck pain), and the extremities (shoulder, elbow, hand, knee, foot and ankle problems).

Our therapists utilize the latest modalities and treatments to restore function and independence.  Individualized therapeutic exercise programs assist the patient in increasing strength, endurance and flexibility.  Individual goals are set and patient progress monitored continually by our therapists and trainers as well as by their physician.
